The Art of The Victim

The shell game. It never changes, but even after we’re shown how it works, we fall for it. No surprises. Maybe it’s the art of the distraction, or just the desire for distraction. But we get sucked in.

Trump’s book should never have been titled The Art of the Deal. He couldn’t deal his way out of a game of solitaire.

But what he can do is be the victim. Oh, the mighty victim.

The Art of the Deal left out that his success was really just taking people to court and appealing until they went broke or gave up. Pretty simple, if it’s all about you.

So don’t leave, thinking this is just another Trump bash — otherwise you’d never get out of bed, ever again.

This is about the book that should have been written: The Art of Being a Victim.

Step back. Really step back. He is the victim. You are the victim. But never fear, Don Quixote is here to take on those malicious windmills — the ones killing all the birds. (Forget that his own shiny Trump Towers kill more birds than wind turbines ever have.) And Quixote is the only one who can save them, and you. And maybe pocket a hundred million in gratitude from the coal industry along the way.

I’ve shown you the results first, to illustrate the shell game — you see the sleight of hand before and during the switch, but the showmanship keeps you watching anyway. Maybe because it’s all explained by The Plan. You know, THE Plan. The one he’ll unveil in two weeks. The one promised since, what, 2016? That’s 494 weeks and counting.

The game plan — and it’s important you understand this, it is a game plan, established from the beginning — is this: you’re being taken advantage of by lazy people sucking the system dry, or stealing it dry, and only he can save you. Only Trump can make it right.

Every day he tweets his little fingers away, telling you he would have done this for you, but those commies stopped him. He tried to give you the 1776 Fund, but the radical left stopped him. (Forget the hundred million he was taking, and the immunity for him and his family on tax issues — and that money was yours, ours, to begin with. Not his.)

He can only save you if you keep voting him and his MAGA crew back into office.

So how’s that going? Let’s see. First year and a half: the number one victim, Trump, up $2,000,000,000. The victims who voted for him, the ones he’s here to save — lost SNAP benefits, lost daycare, higher grocery bills, higher gas prices.

And let’s not forget the war. Only Trump can save you from Iran’s nuclear bombs — the same bombs Trump claimed to have already destroyed all capability of, months earlier. On this one, I have to think maybe he should’ve counted the deck before he sat down, because somebody played him, the same way he’s been playing you. And now his ego is digging you a deeper hole than any Iranian bomb ever could have. But hey — it’s your money, not his.

If you think that’s not really just Trump’s pocketbook too, you’ve been asleep for way too long.

This is just the tip of the iceberg. Any more and it gets redundant, and besides, I’ll need something to write about tomorrow.

Poor, poor President Trump. He’s trying so hard to fix it for you, and suffering so much in the process.

Let’s see — what comes after two billion?
