Republicans and Democrats should be partners, not adversaries. Some states should lean blue, some red — and honestly, carry that down to the county level if we ever get the chance. Different values for different environments. That’s not weakness. That’s actually how it’s supposed to work.
And if we can ever get free of the two-party stranglehold, we limit the influence of outside money. Wouldn’t that be something.
For now — time to get rid of the stink.
