New Voter Registration PSA Launched by Oregon Secretary of State

SALEM, OR — Today, Oregon Secretary of State Tobias Read launched new public service announcements to inform all eligible Oregonians about how to register to vote. The announcements were produced and placed in partnership with the Oregon Association of Broadcasters and radio stations across Oregon. 

“Our state is a stronger, better place when the people hold the powerful accountable through free and fair elections. That’s why I want every eligible Oregonian to vote, and registering is the first crucial step,” said Secretary Read. 

“No citizen should be left out of our elections because they don’t know how the process works, which is why these announcements are so critical. I want to thank the Oregon Association of Broadcasters and radio stations across the state for working with us to get this important message out.”

Attention Oregonians: The deadline to register to vote in the next election is October 13th.  

If you are…   

• A U.S. Citizen   

• A resident of Oregon   

• And at least 16 years old   

…you can register to vote. You must be 18 years old to get a ballot.  

You can quickly register, check, or update your voter information through the secure portal at oregonvotes.gov.   

You have the power to decide Oregon’s future. Vote.
