One size doesn’t fit all. It never has – Video

One size doesn’t fit all. It never has, and it never will. Maybe that’s the problem. Trump is telling everyone that his size is the right size, and people are buying it. Why are they buying it? That’s a damn good question that should be very hard to answer. But sadly, it’s very easy to answer.

It’s because no other sizes are being offered. Everyone’s sitting around either chasing their own tail or chasing the last stupid thing Trump did. Why is everyone talking about the dinner and the stupid 2028 cap? Who cares about the cap? Everyone cares, because nobody’s gotten together and decided what to actually do instead. And Trump and MAGA don’t just know this,  they’re working it.

I call it Diversion 101. It works. On Mondays, he’s going to eradicate the Iranians. On Tuesdays, he controls the Strait of Hormuz. On Wednesdays, he sounds even more stupid and draws elephants. On Thursdays, he claims victory. On Fridays, he sends troops to some blue state. On Saturday, he accepts donations. And on Sunday, he prays over his golf course for more contributors. Every evening, his team of trained monkeys will start sending out so, so sad tweets for half the night, and upon the magic hour of eating a McDonald’s, he’ll rinse and repeat.

============================================

I can sit here and write jokes about the clown in the White House all day long.

But there’s nothing funny about an opposition that screams foul all day long and has nothing else to offer, and nobody to back it up.

Ironically, that last paragraph could have been written about either side. So I’ll just let it sit.

Right now this is playing like vaudeville theater, with one glaring exception. In vaudeville, when they used the hook to pull the clown off the stage, they had another act ready to take his place. I have the sinking feeling the stage is going to be empty.

I’m really starting to wonder if the Democrats actually have anyone who could be a good presidential candidate. Any independents worth looking at? I’m not against a good moderate, real Republican, a RINO, as they’re now known, not one of those posers on the Hill. Is there anyone worthy of the title?

Now is the time to step forward. Not after the midterms, not after Trump and his machine make more headway and do more damage. Let’s see some leadership. Someone, or maybe a team, with an actual plan. What a concept. A plan that might work for both the blues and the reds. Oh my, I must still be dreaming.

The campaign for the 2028 presidency started the day Trump made his first joke about running for a third term. What has anyone done since, other than run around like a chicken in the farmyard? If that sounds cruel, then maybe I’m making my point.

By my count, as of August 1st, 2026: whoever plans on taking down the Trump regime and becoming the 48th President of the United States has already lost 3,073 days of campaigning. Trump made his first third-term announcement on March 3, 2018.
